The Alkatal range is predominantly used in enamel paint systems, mainly for trim colours - although it can be used in other resin systems like nitrocellulose lacquers, C.A.B coatings and vinyl lacquers.

Alkatals contain hyperdispersant surfactants and it is important for the user to check compatibility issues due to possible flocculation of pigments caused by resins or solvents.
